About Us
New Horizon church is a merged church in Greensboro, NC that was merged from Greensboro First Church of the Nazarene and Greensboro White Rock Church of the Nazarene. New Horizon was started on September 7, 2014. New Horizon has a down to earth mentality of what church should be. You can come as you are. If you love to wear suits, jeans, t-shirts, etc… You can wear it to New Horizon! 
We have a wide variety of music, from hymns to praise and worship to contemporary. Every Sunday is different and exciting so people really come expecting God to move. We are a church that believes that no matter what your past is, you can be forgiven by God who is fully in love with you!

New Horizon is part of the Nazarene Denomination and here is the beliefs in a nutshell!
We believe in striving to become Christ-like. We believe that faith is true to scripture, reason, tradition and experience. We believe that God calls us to a life of following Christ and doing his work. We believe in being saved (born again) and being baptized with the Holy Spirit (entire-sanctification) cleansing us from all our sins. We believe that we should love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We believe in witnessing through worship, evangelism and discipleship.
